A sneaker pulled from brutalist architecture and the armour of knights, translated into something you can actually wear. Sharp folded planes, heavy presence the shoe that makes everything else around it make sense.
Context
Sneaker design had become a conversation about colour-ways and collabs. The form itself stopped being questioned. Nobody was making a shoe that felt like it came from somewhere completely different from stone, from steel, from history.
Approach
Sketching failed completely. Every attempt on paper missed what the mind could see, until one frustrated afternoon the paper got torn up and taped directly onto a foot. An hour later there was a model. That rough physical form became the sketch and the design finally had somewhere to go. Sometimes the process breaks before it works., allowing content to take precedence while remaining visually grounded.
Outcome
A statement shoe that sits at the intersection of wearable sculpture and footwear design. The folded steel aesthetic gives it a material honesty that most sneakers avoid entirely. It doesn't whisper luxury it declares it.
